Top professionals recognize Round Hill Country Club as one of the most complete tennis facilities in Northern California.
The beautiful 4000 square-foot tennis clubhouse features a 2800 square-foot viewing deck to all the upper courts.
A Sports Bar-type atmosphere offers a fully stocked bar and the latest top-of-the-line merchandise. Round Hill’s Tennis Club attracts the Bay Area’s most competitive and social tennis players and it is certainly the most active! The Club presents 15 championship tennis courts with nine lighted for evening play.

Bio
Originally from Brisbane Australia, Sue was the #5 Junior in the world in 1980 and the Junior Wimbledon finalist. She played on the WTA Professional tour from 1980-1988 and reached a career high of #62 in singles and #25 in doubles. Sue reached the 3rd round in singles of all 4 Grand slam events and twice was a doubles quarterfinalist at Wimbledon. Sue represented her country (Australia) in Federation Cup for 4 years. Prior to working at Round Hill, Sue was the Director of Tennis at Countryside Country Club in Clearwater Florida for 9 years. She is an active member of the USPTA, USTA and National Head/Penn Advisory Staff.
Bio
Nino was the #1 player in Juniors in the world in 1993. She played on the professional tour for 5 years and was in the top 100 in the world. She played Federation Cup for her country (Georgia) for 6 years, and helped to coach the Federation Cup Team after quitting playing professionally due to injury. “I have been working at Round Hill for 10 years and love it.” Nino was recently awarded the Employee of the Year for 2008.

Bio
Ankit has been a part of the Round Hill staff since June 06. He graduated from the University of California Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and minor in Managerial Economics. Ankit is a certified USPTA Pro 1 and has many years of teaching experience. Prior to Round Hill he taught at Livermore Valley Tennis Club, Ruby Hill Golf Club and Club Sport of San Ramon. He also participates and competes in the adult USTA 5.0 teams. Ankit’s clientele varies with all levels from the youngest of Hot Shots to the top Juniors/Adults at the Club. He has a real passion for teaching tennis and finds success as he teaches it to others who can learn and enjoy the sport as much as he does. Ankit was awarded the Employee of the Year for 2008.

Chris has played tennis at almost every level - juniors, junior nationals, Division I Collegiate and Professional. He graduated from Cal Poly, SLO and played #1 singles and doubles for the Division I program during his 4 year collegiate career. After graduating, Chris played on the pro circuit, reaching a high of #408 in the world for singles and #330 for doubles. Prior to joining Round Hill in 2009, he taught at Club Sport Valley Vista. Chris enjoys helping players at all levels improve their games!

Bio
A local from Fairfield, Steve grew up playing around this area and dominating the Norcal Juniors as #1 in the 18’s before moving on to UC Berkeley where he played #1 all 4 years, earning All-American 3 times. During his college career he was awarded the prestigious Rafael Osena Sportsmanship award and graduated with a double degree in Social Science and Business Administration. After leaving Cal, Steve played the ATP Tour for 9 years with success, then moved on to coaching. Steve was the USTA Boys 14 High Performance Coach and then the USTA High Performance Pro Coach for upcoming tour players. He was the primary coach for top US Pro Robby Ginepri, helping him from a ranking of 650 to the top 25.
